The CRRA is celebrating our current and past members in 2021 by holding a ranch roping that embodies all that we strive to achieve in our Horsemanship, Stockmanship and Community. In 2005 the CRRA was founded by a group of ranch roping enthusiasts. Since that time we have gathered together through the years at ranch ropings to hone our skills by throwing loops of all kinds. It is an opportunity to experience the camaraderie of our friends and the ranch roping community and share our love of ranch roping with our families.
It has been a difficult time in our world since March of 2020. The CRRA like so many other organizations was unable to hold any events. Our first roping in 2021 was held in June and the second in July. The next will be our Ranch Ropers Roundup in September which usually is the time for our yearly finals. With only two ropings in 2021, we put our “Finals” on hold until 2022. We felt we needed to get back to our roots of a traditional ranch roping and to encourage current and past members to gather and enjoy the camaraderie of our fellow ranch roping enthusiasts.
We invite all current and past CRRA members to join us in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. The only qualification required is that you are a current or past member of the CRRA.
It will be an “ALL DRAW” event for both OPEN and NOVICE categories. Open starts at 9 AM each day with Novice at 10 AM Sunday. Open will have a maximum of 4 draw ins with 3 go arounds. Novice will have 2 draw ins with 3 go arounds.
There will be a supper on Saturday night for all ropers attending the event and their families. We are arranging a gathering after the supper to reminisce, tell stories and meet old and new friends. Watch our website for further information about our Ranch Roper Roundup Gathering.

Deadline for entries is AUGUST 27, 2021. No late entries will be accepted.
