It will be held at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Grounds in the Corral Room in the Golden Mile Arena.

For anyone purchasing a 2025 CRRA membership who was not a member in 2024 must sign a waiver.
CRRA Club insurance requires that all participants hold a membership to the provincial equine association of the province they live in - Sask Horse Federation, AB Equine Federation, Ontario Equestrian Federation and Horse Council BC etc.
If you do not have a 2024 SHF (or provincial equivalent) individual membership please purchase online PRIOR to arriving at the roping.
NOTE: if you already have your 2024 SHF(or provincial equivalent) membership you do not need to purchase one until it expires December 31, 2024. You should receive an email from the federation of your province sometime in December.

Saturday roping begins at 9:00 AM. Please check in at the registration area when you arrive on Friday. Your supper tickets and programs will be available on Friday for pick up.
It will be an All Draw format and you will need to qualify by participating in two ropings in the 2024 season. For example, if you attended a 2 day roping and participate in both days that would be your two ropings as each day is considered a separate roping. If you attended one day of a two-day roping at two different times that would be your two ropings
Stalls are $20 per horse per night on the grounds. No trailer tie. Shavings are NOT supplied.
Please clean out your stall before leaving.
There will be a supper Saturday night cost is $27 per adult, $12 for children 12 years and younger.
Draw Ins - if you are interested in being eligible for a draw in, in case of injury etc there is an option on the entry form to complete. Fees will apply if chosen. (Please note you will be chosen by a random draw of those who have asked to be eligible)
There will be a KIDS dummy roping during the Finals Saturday afternoon after the day’s roping is finished. Please enter your children in advance on your entry form so we have appropriate prizes. Age categories are 0 to 6 and 7 to 12.

The Ontario Ranch Roping Association will be holding a roping Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Cambridge, Ontario hosted by Samantha McFayden. There will be a CRRA Novice Ranch Roping Class at this event. During the CRRA Novice Ranch Roping Class CRRA rules and regulations will be used and judged accordingly. All participants in this class must be CRRA members.
This is the third time the CRRA Novice Ranch Roping class will be presented at an Ontario Ranch Roping Association roping.
The CRRA is delighted to be assisting the ORRA in encouraging our style of ranch roping.

From Swift Current - when you get to Parkbeg, Sask on the Trans Canada HWY turn off will be approximately 9 Kms East of Parkbeg. Turn South on Range Road 3020. (there are 3 signs marking the road - Courval 42 kms, RG Rd 3020 and Grid 627) Go South for 10.5 kms. Driveway will be on your left hand side (East) with a Canadian flag as a marker.
From Moose Jaw - When you get to Mortlach on the Trans Canada HWY continue West for another 5.5 kms then turn south on Range Rd 3020 as shown above.

Note - all current CRRA membership holders - you must renew your SHF membership or affiliated provincial membership prior to the first roping you attend. We will need to know your membership number for our records.

In this 2 1/2 day clinic you will learn to prepare your horse and yourself for ranch duties, cattle handling and ranch roping which are required to be an effective ranch hand on your own land or working for others. Included in the clinic will be reviewing your horsemanship skills, safety issues when working with cattle and learning practical loops and a few fancy loops for a ranch roping competition! in the evenings there will be dummy roping for extra practise.
All levels of experience are welcome!

The Ontario Ranch Roping Association will be holding a roping Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Cambridge, Ontario hosted by Samantha McFayden. There will be a CRRA Novice Ranch Roping Class at this event. During the CRRA Novice Ranch Roping Class CRRA rules and regulations will be used and judged accordingly. All participants in this class must be CRRA members.
This is the second time that the CRRA Novice Ranch Roping class will be presented at an Ontario Ranch Roping Association roping.

Saturday roping begins at 9:00 AM. Please check in at the registration area when you arrive on Friday. Your supper tickets and programs will be available on Friday for pick up.
It will be an All Draw format and you will need to qualify for the 2023 Finals by participating in two ropings in the 2023 season. For example, if you attended a 2 day roping and participate in both days that would be your two ropings as each day is considered a separate roping. If you attended one day of a two-day roping at two different times that would be your two ropings
Stalls are $20 per horse per night on the grounds. No trailer tie. Shavings are NOT supplied.
There will be a supper Saturday night cost is $25 per adult, $10 for children 12 years and younger.
Draw Ins - if you are interested in being eligible for a draw in, in case of injury etc there is an option on the entry form to complete. Fees will apply if chosen. (Please note you will be chosen by a random draw of those who have asked to be eligible)
There will be a KIDS dummy roping during the Finals Saturday afternoon after the day’s roping is finished. Please enter your children in advance so we have appropriate prizes. Age categories are 0 to 6 and 7 to 12.

From Moose Jaw: When you get to Mortlach, Sask. on the Trans Canada HWY continue West for another 5.5 km then turn South on Ranch Road 3020 as shown above.

For new CRRA members in 2023, you must purchase a Saskatchewan Horse Federation individual membership (or provincial equivalent) PRIOR to the first roping you attend. Go to www.saskhorse.ca to purchase. For all current CRRA members if you have not renewed your SHF membership (or provincial equivalent) please do so PRIOR to the roping which can be done online. If you are new to the CRRA in 2023 and do not have a CRRA membership you can purchase the CRRA membership at the roping. Cost of CRRA membership $25 per individual and $50 per family PLUS $5 for each family member.

This is an excellent group of instructors for you to learn from. They have many years of working with horses, stock, pasture and all are skillful ropers.
Friday start time is 1 PM
Saturday and Sunday 9 AM to 5 PM
In this 2 1/2 day clinic, you will learn to prepare your horse and yourself for ranch duties, cattle handling, and ranch roping which are all required to be an effective ranch hand on your own land or working for others. Included in the clinic will be reviewing your horsemanship skills, safety issues when working with cattle, and learning practical loops and a few fancy loops for ranch roping competitions! In the evenings there will be dummy roping for extra practice.
All levels of experience are welcome!

Stabling: There are limited outdoor paddocks for $10 per day by the Gomersall Arena and indoor stalls for a fee of $20 per day Bring your own shavings/straw if planning to use an indoor stall

Insurance waiver is required to be signed at your first roping of the year.
