 Welcome to all participants to the Ranch Ropers Roundup in Moose Jaw.

 We are looking forward to meeting you and catching up on all the news since we saw you last! 


REGISTRATION TABLE 

When you arrive (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and are settled please go to the Registration table in the arena area down by the concession stand.  There are 2 Sask Horse Federation forms that must be signed by all participants before the event begins.   At the same time you will be given your supper tickets and official program. While at the registration table remember to put your name in the basket for a gift bucket sponsored by John Brown Farms.

The concession will be open Friday night and all day Saturday and Sunday. 

Stalls for your horses are in the North Barn (the one closest to the arena)

SATURDAY

  • Judges meeting 8:30 AM

  • Participant meeting 9:00 AM (in the arena)

  • Roping begins at 9:30 AM

  • The Dummy roping for the children will be ½ hour after the end of the roping on Saturday in the arena.

  • Supper about 5:30 PM

  • The Gathering will be after the supper. Bring your stories!

  • There will be a time to trade items you have brought after the roping on Saturday and in the evening. Bring your trade bags!

SUNDAY

  • Novice ropers go rounds are on Sunday only

  • Novice ropers if you are arriving on Sunday morning once you are settled please go to the Registration table in the arena area down by the concession stand. There are 2 Sask Horse Federation forms that must be signed by all participants before the event begins and you will receive your official program then.

  • Novice participant meeting 9:00 AM in the arena

  • 9:30 AM start for both Open and Novice

  • Prize money and awards will be handed out about ½ hour after the roping finishes on Sunday.
